Artwork & File Requirements

High-quality artwork helps us produce clean, professional results. Please review the following requirements before submitting your design to L'OKAPI CRAFT & PRESS.

General Artwork Requirements

  • Submit artwork at the final size you want it produced.

  • Use clear, high-resolution images.

  • Make sure all text, spelling, dates, and names are correct.

  • Remove unwanted backgrounds unless they are part of the design.

  • Do not submit screenshots or images downloaded from social media.

  • You must have permission to use all submitted logos, images, and artwork.

Laser Engraving Files

Vector artwork provides the cleanest engraving results.

Preferred formats:

  • SVG

  • AI

  • EPS

  • PDF

High-resolution PNG or JPG files may be accepted for photo engraving. Thin lines, tiny text, gradients, shadows, and very small details may need to be adjusted before engraving.

DTF Printing Files

For the best DTF print quality, please submit:

  • PNG with a transparent background

  • 300 DPI resolution

  • Artwork sized to the intended print dimensions

  • Clean edges without unwanted pixels

  • No transparent glow, soft shadow, or faded background unless intentionally included

Low-resolution artwork may appear blurry or pixelated when printed.

Embroidery Artwork

Logos and designs must be converted into an embroidery-ready stitch file before production. This process is called digitizing.

Clear PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, AI, or EPS artwork may be submitted for review. Very small text, thin lines, gradients, and highly detailed artwork may need to be simplified for better stitching.

Digitizing or artwork preparation fees may apply.

Tumbler Design Files

Please submit high-resolution artwork at 300 DPI whenever possible. PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, or AI files may be accepted depending on the design and production method.

For full-wrap designs, make sure important text and graphics remain inside the safe area. Exact template dimensions may vary by tumbler size and style.

Artwork Review and Adjustments

We will review your file before production. If the artwork is low resolution, incorrectly sized, or unsuitable for the selected service, we may request a replacement file or recommend adjustments.

Additional charges may apply for background removal, logo recreation, vector conversion, digitizing, or extensive design corrections.

Color Notice

Colors may appear differently between screens and finished products. Exact color matching is not guaranteed unless a specific color-matching service is discussed and approved before production.
